Questions of the Film

1. to be honest i thought this reminded me of the movie "Dangerous Minds." I wasnt shock, but i was sadden. i dont want to sound naive, but i always tried to put the hard times of teaching in the back of my mind and think it will never happen to me. Now i know that this could happen to me.
2. what affected me the most about this film was when he had to report the abuses about a student. it makes me wonder how i will be able to do that for a child. Will i have the courage? will i have the strength to stand up for the child? and i know in my heart that i will be able to. like i said before i always didnt want to admit to what may happen to me in my teaching years to come.
3. I want to be the person the student can trust and i want my students to know that there is someone who will believe in them.

Animal Activity w/ some Technology

I will have Five categories that we will learn about. Birds. Desert Animals. Farm Animals. Pet Animals. Forest Animals. For each categories i will have 3-5 animals i will discuss with the class. For each animal we will color a picture of the animal to learn the colors of the animals, plus it works on their colors. i will teach them an interesting fact about one animal in a category. some thing simple but interesting enough for them. then finally i will show a quit video over each category for review. i will have maybe seame street or Dora the explorer for the video. i think this would be a fun learning activity for the kids. What do you think?

Facebook organizations

This organization is called Early Childhood Education. it says that if you are going into early childhood education then this is the club to be apart of. This is an open group. Anyone can join and invite others to join.Related Groups that you can be apart of are: Teacher ideas for all ages-business employment and work; Early childhood Educators Unite- business and general; Liam want to meet Ellen DeGeneres- just for fun; there are some things guys should always do for girls. Period.- common interest; Early childhood Education Majors- student groups, academic groups. there are discussion boards you can be apart, and here are some topics right now: Kindergarten Teacher needed; home day care: would you do it?; Early childhood education books for sale at half prices or less; Activity ideas/recipes to share and use. then is also an opportunity for members to express a little about them so you know alittle more about your club members. this could come in great handy to discuss about lesson plans and so much more.

impacts on kids

i think it impacts students/kids... dramatically. on the video kids discuss how they could express what every they want whether people like it or not. i want to compare the old fashion dariy and the internet. our parents used the dairy and the only one how could ever find it and read it would be parents and annoying little siblings. the people who can read/ see your thoughts and problems is the world. it is amazing to see how different is was for our parents and us. i only have one question for these kids... if it is so pirvate then why do you post your most private thoughts to the world? this does make me worry about my future kids and for my students. i will only want the best for my kids and for my students.
